That is the mandate of the TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P. which was read by the Head of the TNI Lt. Gen. TNI Ganip Warsito, S.E., M.M. while leading the Armed Forces Joint Apple Women Year 2021, which was attended by 240 women from the TNI and 25 representatives from female civil servants, at the TNI Headquarters Plaza, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Wednesday (21/4/2021).
The TNI Commander said that TNI women are required to be able to adapt to the various changes that are and will continue to occur. As soldiers, TNI women must continue to nurture themselves and improve their abilities.
Furthermore, TNI Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, S.I.P. conveyed that April 21 coincides with the birthday of R.A Kartini, a symbol of the struggle for the emancipation of Indonesian women. Currently, the TNI has opened the widest possible opportunity for its soldiers, including TNI women, to develop military careers.
“Modern Kartinis have the same opportunities as male counterparts in various fields of service and assignment. The TNI Academy has become an alma mater not only for cadets but also cadets, ”he said.
The TNI Commander gave several emphases, including always getting closer to God Almighty in carrying out his duties and holding fast to the Sapta Marga and the Soldier's Oath. Carry out tasks professionally, continue to improve your abilities and broaden your horizons as a soldier and as a member of society. Strengthen the unity of the TNI with the people, as well as the spirit of synergy with various components of the nation so that national unity and integrity are maintained to realize an advanced Indonesia.
As is well known, the Indonesian Armed Forces Together Woman is a forum for TNI women as soldiers in an effort to maintain fighting spirit, spirit of violence and solidity in order to increase pride and motivation in serving the TNI, the State and the nation in a professional manner. The implementation of Apples with Indonesian Armed Forces in 2021 as a form of traditional development activities that contain the historical meaning of women's struggles in Indonesia that never goes out.
